Sarah Jessica Parker is on the cover of Elle’s November issue, its 19th annual Women In Hollywood issue dedicated to women the film industry. This year’s honorees are Parker, Cate Blanchett, Elle Fanning, Shirley MacLaine, Susan Sarandon, Octavia Spencer, Uma Thurman, Emma Watson and Kristen Wiig. The women are to be honored at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Oct. 15, and the magazine is scheduled to be out Oct. 16. [Elle]

Montblanc honored Quincy Jones with the 21st annual Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award at an event at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, the watch company reported in a news release. Now, Laura Craik, fashion editor at the Times of London, has sent Slimane an open letter saying that even though she did attend the show -- and hopes to be invited back -- he didn’t make journalists feel very welcome.
