& Still, an L.A. store that sells unworn, vintage sports clothing.

Her caftans, clutches and shift dresses appeal to both high-end shoppers and those on a budget. That's why they're endlessly copied. Photos | A short-sleeve revival | Che: Man, myth, logo

Jeremy Shapiro’s love of the game has led him to ditch a real estate career to open &Still, a clothing store that celebrates sports of all kinds.

But don’t expect your standard selection of team logo gear. The majority of &Still’s tees, hats, jerseys and jackets date back to the 1990s and are unworn, with the tags still on them.

A ’92 Dream Team basketball T-shirt ($92) hangs near an L.A. Rams Starter jacket in satiny blue ($225). A 1987 Mike Tyson Atlantic City fight is memorialized on the front of a black satin hat ($100), while a photo of Hulk Hogan graces a nylon jacket from 1990 ($245) and takes fans back in time before his reality show and legal troubles. And this just in: a selection of Lakers gear from the 1980s and ‘90s.

The lofty store feels as if it’s a clubhouse with lockers, stadium seats, AstroTurf and even a boxing ring, where Shapiro hopes to hold musical performances and book signings. An old-school Atari video game is a bonus.

“Ninety-nine percent of people roll in here and are like, ‘I had that,’ ” he says about his vintage stock.

If only everything could be so nice the second time around.

EVENTS

Perez Hilton for Hot Topic launch Friday: The snarkiest celebrity blogger in the stratosphere is debuting his own line of street wear with punk-lite mall chain store Hot Topic. The collection -- created for his core audience, gum-snapping teenage girls -- is Rainbow Brite gone sinister. Hoodies, T-shirts and totes are festooned with rainbows ending in skulls instead of pots of gold, splatter-paint graphics and handguns paired with the slogan “Gossip Gangster.” The collection also includes lip glosses, studded belts, a journal and -- of course -- a computer keyboard cover. Hilton, né Mario Lavandeira, said he was inspired by the avalanche of fashion lines being spun out by the “losers” (or celebs) that keep him knee-deep in the gossip game, adding, “I thought, ‘Let me do something that doesn’t suck.’ ” The self-proclaimed “queen of all media” will be signing autographs at the Hot Topic store at Hollywood & Highland at 6 p.m. Better bring along some anti-venom. 6801 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles.
