Body found along shore in Playa del Rey
A body was found along the shore in Playa del Rey Sunday night, authorities said.
The body was found by a county lifeguard about 7 p.m. amid some rocks near Ballona Creek, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Gordon.
Gordon said he did not know the person’s age or gender, or the possible cause of death. Investigators were on scene to determine whether the incident involved foul play, he said.
