Dramatic photos and videos have emerged showing the aftermath of a fiery crash Saturday morning involving a stolen Tesla in West Hollywood.

A video from KTLA shows the Tesla sliced in two, with one part burning. Another section of the video shows two other fires on the street, which KTLA said was probably batteries from the car. A second video shows sparks flying from those two fires.

An RMG News video shows firefighters trying to pull the driver out of the car and a piece of the vehicle embedded into a building.

The Tesla was reported stolen from a dealership in the 5800 block of Centinela Avenue about 12:51 a.m., according to Officer Christopher No of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver of the Tesla led two officers on a short pursuit, at one point driving up La Brea Avenue at close to 100 mph, according to authorities. The police crashed their car near the area of La Brea Avenue and Don Ricardo Drive. The Tesla hit several other vehicles, according to news reports, before splitting in two.

Several other drivers were hurt in the crash, although it was unclear how many.

The two police officers were treated for minor injuries at the scene and then released, police said.
