A glittery traffic stop: Gold-painted man arrested on suspicion of DUI, hit-and-run

A man slathered in gold spray paint was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Wednesday after he hit three cars in the Berkeley area, authorities said.

An off-duty police officer spotted the 21-year-old driver and followed him to an offramp, where a wheel fell off his car, forcing him to pull over.
