Ugliest Dog Contest Marred by Scandal

The annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest at Petaluma’s Sonoma-Marin Fair just got uglier.
This year staffers are holding a just-for-fun Internet vote in advance of the June 23 contest. But someone apparently has hacked in and erased tens of thousands of votes for two of the front-runners.
Fair organizers sought to cool the voting wars, saying they would restart the polling Monday.
