Football: St. John Bosco’s Sean McGrew is named Gatorade state player of the year
Standout running back Sean McGrew of St. John Bosco has been named the Gatorade state player of the year.
The Washington-bound McGrew has rushed for 1,668 yards and 24 touchdowns in leading the Braves to a 13-0 record going into Saturday’s Pac-5 Division championship game. He has been a four-year varsity standout.
He has maintained a 3.23 GPA and volunteered on behalf of the Center for Learning Unlimited and Ride To Fly, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding to people with disabilities.
