The Lonzo Ball-Jordin Canada point guard days at UCLA
- Share via
Take a look at the photo above. No college in America is going to have two point guards quite like freshman Lonzo Ball and junior Jordin Canada. Both are now at UCLA and they’re L.A. natives who learned how to run teams by being unselfish.
Ball is from Chino Hills. Canada is from L.A. Windward. Both were McDonald’s All-Americans.
UCLA fans are going to have a year to remember this coming season watching the two do their magic for the men’s and women’s teams.
Both are great students of the game on and off the court. Both are leaders, and both figure to one day play in the professional ranks.
It’s going to be so much fun for Los Angeles area basketball fans and those around the country to watch them develop.
The fact they’re now at the same school, one male and one female, will be picked up by media around the country.
Stay tuned.
Ball will make his debut in a UCLA uniform next week in Australia. The Bruins will be on a 10-day Australian exhibition tour that begins on Tuesday.
