GALAXY VS. MONTREAL

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: StubHub Center.

On the air: TV: TWC Sports, TWC Deportes; Radio: 1330.

Records: Galaxy 14-11-6, Impact 13-11-7.

Record vs. Impact (2012): 0-0-1.

Update: This is the only regular-season game between the clubs, which are fighting for a playoff spot in their respective divisions with only three games left. The Galaxy is tied with Colorado for fourth place in the Western Conference and the Impact is tied with Chicago and Philadelphia for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The top five teams in each conference reach the playoffs. In their only game last year, the Galaxy and Impact played to a 1-1 tie in Montreal. A key for the Galaxy in this game will be whether star forward Landon Donovan and defender Omar Gonzalez can play. Both recently were released from the U.S. national team’s roster because of injuries, Donovan a sore right ankle and Gonzalez a left hip strain. If Donovan plays, he can set the Major League Soccer all-time regular-season scoring record with one goal. He’s tied for first with Jeff Cunningham with 134 goals.
