UCLA football: Tackle Torian White arrested in alleged sexual assault

Share

UCLA offensive tackle Torian White was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault early Sunday morning.

White, a sophomore, was arrested at 3 a.m. at an apartment complex near UCLA. He has not played since an injury his right leg against Utah on Oct. 3. He required surgery to repair a broken bone and torn ligament.

“We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously,” UCLA Coach Jim Mora said in statement. “Torian has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process and student discipline process run their course. Due to the ongoing police investigation, we are unable to discuss this matter further at this time.”
