Bishop Amat receiver Trevon Sidney became the second player to commit to USC at the Opening football camp on Friday.

“It’s just a great fit for me, I feel most comfortable with the coaching staff there,” said Sidney, who also considered UCLA, Washington, Michigan and Notre Dame.

Gardena Serra defensive back C.J. Pollard committed on Thursday.

Sidney, 5-foot-10½ and 164 pounds, said despite making his commitment, he would still make official visits to five schools.
