Christmas Elf, 14, Files Suit, Claims Santa Molested Her
A 14-year-old girl who worked as a Christmas elf has filed suit against her Santa Claus for allegedly molesting her.
The girl, who is listed as Jane Doe in the civil suit, claimed that Robert Stewart, 39, forced her to remove some of her clothing and be photographed while in a dressing room at East Park Plaza.
Stewart was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He pleaded innocent and is free on $5,000 bond.
Stewart is accused of videotaping a 16-year-old girl and trying to get the 14-year-old girl, both of whom worked for him as elves, to pose for him.
Police, who became aware of the incidents when the older girl told a school counselor, seized three videotapes at Stewart’s home, including one of the 16-year-old.
The 14-year-old girl claims that Stewart molested her several times. The girl worked as an elf for him during the 1981, 1982 and 1984 Christmas seasons.
