O’Sullivan KOs McDowell in Second Round

CORK, Ireland —
Canada’s Shawn O’Sullivan knocked out American Marvin McDowell in the second round of a welterweight bout Friday night to remain undefeated as a professional.
O’Sullivan, 22, a silver medalist at the Olympic Games and former world amateur champion, raised his record to 3-0 with the victory.
For McDowell, from Baltimore, it was his fourth defeat against five wins. His amateur record was 118-18, with 68 knockouts.
