Police in Broadmoor issued an all-points bulletin in Northern California cities for a 60-year-old registered sex offender who may have molested 20 boys. The suspect was identified as Warren M. Eveleth, 60, who was last seen Wednesday near the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco, where he worked as a secretary. Investigators searched the suspect’s bedroom and found 1,000 pornographic snapshots of at least 20 boys who police believe were molested by Eveleth, Broadmoor police said. Eveleth was convicted of sex crimes in Michigan during the 1950s and 1960s, officers said. State corrections officials said Eveleth was committed to the California Medical Facility at Vacaville as a mentally disordered sex offender in September, 1967 and released in January, 1972.
