USIU Loses to Eastern Washington and Finishes With Worst Record in Divsion 1

CHENEY, Wash. — Tony Chrisman had 20 points, 14 in the second half, to lead Eastern Washington to a 99-71 basketball victory Saturday over U.S. International. The Gulls finish the season at 1-27, the worst Division I record in the country.
USIU, which led 41-36 at halftime, was ahead by as many as 11 early in the half. Steve Leisenring led the Gulls with 17 points, and Michael Hayles added 14. EWU ends its season with a 12-15 record.
