Casey Martin’s two-out single to right field in the 11th inning Friday gave Golden West College a 9-8 win over College of the Canyons in a nonconference community college baseball game at Huntington Beach.

The victory served as revenge for the Rustlers (6-1-1), who were routed by the Cougars Tuesday at Valencia, 23-7.

The score was tied, 6-6, going into the eighth inning when both teams scored twice to make it 8-8. It stayed that way until the 11th, when Martin knocked in Andy Mota with the winning run.
