Hit-and-Run Kills Boy
An 18-month-old boy was struck and killed Monday by a hit-and-run driver in Compton.
Police said Cano Yobani was playing in front of his home in the 100 block of East Raymond Street when he wandered into the street and was struck by a car. Witnesses said the vehicle was going at least 50 m.p.h.
The car did not stop, and police said they have no clear description of it or the driver.
