Express Will Hold Cheerleader Tryouts
The Los Angeles Express football team will hold preliminary tryouts for a new cheerleading squad Saturday at the Coliseum.
The Express recently released their entire squad of cheerleaders in what was seen as a cost-cutting move.
Interested contestants, who must be at least 21 years old, will meet at noon Saturday at the peristyle end of the Coliseum dressed in leotards or other dancing wear. The tryout will be part of the pregame entertainment for the Express game with the San Antonio Gunslingers at 5:30. Contestants will receive two tickets to the game.
