The Cal State Fullerton men’s gymnastics team, ranked No. 8 in the country, captured its 10th consecutive Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. team title with a score of 170.85 Friday at San Jose.

The score is lower than usual because the PCAA only counted the top three places in determining point totals. With the conventional top five finishers, the Titans would have scored 279.35 points.

San Jose State finished second (157.55), followed by UC Santa Barbara (148.80) and non-PCAA member UC Davis (157.85).

The two-day tournament concludes today with individual titles on the line. Four of the top five performances Friday were turned in by Fullerton gymnasts: Cody Oakland (56.35), Harry Loupakis (55.80), Phil Monard (53.75) and Ric Draghi (53.60). Santa Barbara’s Troy Andersen (52.70) finished fifth.
