Santa Ana Softball Team Beats Pasadena to Lift Record to 16-1

Tricia Saxton and Denise Rizzo each were 3 for 3 and combined to drive in five runs to lead Santa Ana College to an 8-1 win over Pasadena in a nonconference women’s softball game Tuesday in Pasadena.
Alani Silva went the distance to get the win for the Dons, scattering five hits and striking out seven. Santa Ana is 16-1. Pasadena is 9-8.
