Missing Plane Hunted

Civil Air Patrol aircraft Wednesday searched the desert between Barstow and Las Vegas for a light plane missing since Sunday with a Los Angeles dentist and a friend of his aboard.
Authorities said the single engine Cessna P-210, piloted by Dr. Virgil Falldorf with Sharlon Zeller as his passenger, lost radio and radar contact not long after taking off from Las Vegas on a flight to Santa Monica.
