Titan Gymnasts Invited to Men’s National
For the first time in four years, the Cal State Fullerton men’s gymnastics team was invited to the National Championships after its selection as one of the top 10 teams in the nation. Fullerton (23-9) was chosen for the 10th spot instead of alternates Minnesota, New Mexico and Berkeley based on a comparison of head-to-head records. The Titans are 1-0 against Minnesota, 2-0 against New Mexico and 1-2 against Berkeley.
In addition to Fullerton (10), the Western Region also will be represented by Arizona State (4), UCLA (5) and Stanford (7). Rounding out the top 10: Penn State (1), Ohio State (2), Nebraska (3), Southern Illinois (6) University of Iowa (8) and Oklahoma (9).
