In other games, former major league player Leron Lee hit a tie-breaking one-run single as the Lotte Orions beat the Seibu Lions, 6-2.

Joe Hicks, a former minor leaguer, drove in six runs with four hits, leading the Hankyu Braves to a 13-8 victory over the Kintetsu Buffaloes.
