Rose Still Has Long Way to Go to Catch Shoemaker

In a recent Morning Briefing, Pete Rose is quoted as saying: “I’ve played in more winning games than anybody in the history of baseball. And we play more games than in any other sport. So based on that, I’ve got to be the biggest winner in the history of sports.”
Oh, yeah? Tell that to Bill Shoemaker, Pete baby.
If Rose plays another 60 years or so he may come close to the Shoe, who is approaching 8,500 career victories.
