A lone gunman held up a Home Savings office in Fresno, and police answering a silent alarm were told that he had fled in a black limousine. Officers spotted the limo entering the California 41 freeway a few blocks away and followed for a couple of miles before stopping the vehicle. All three occupants--including the chauffeur--were taken into custody and handcuffed, but the chauffeur was released after police determined that he did not know there had been a holdup. Officers said the limousine apparently had been rented. Gary Gene Riley, 25, was booked for investigation of bank robbery. The third man was being questioned.
