Burger King Sign Blown Up

A disgruntled ex-employee stuck a six-inch pipe bomb in the drive-through sign at a Burger King in Agoura this morning, blowing the sign to pieces and doing $8,000 damage, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

Allan Glass, 21, of Agoura Hills was arrested at 5 a.m. by deputies who saw him lingering near the restaurant at 29136 Roadside Drive, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Lynda Edmonds. She said restaurant employees told deputies that Glass had been threatening to blow up the restaurant since he was fired seven months ago from his position as assistant manager.
