No criminal charges will be filed against the Larry Fricker Co. in the June fire at the Anaheim pesticide company that sent toxic fumes into the air and forced 7,500 residents to flee their homes. City and county officials called the three-day fire the worst environmental disaster in Orange County history. Darrell Hartshorn, acting Anaheim fire chief, said that Deputy Dist. Atty. Christopher Kralick told him that no charges will be filed against the company in the arson fire. Neither Hartshorn or Kralick would comment on reasons for the decision. Peter Freeman, attorney for the pesticide company, said he was pleased that his client was cleared of wrongdoing in the fire.
