A 34.7-acre lake has been created at Sunnymead Ranch, a master-planned community being developed in Moreno Valley by Markborough California Inc. at the foot of the Box Springs Mountains.
Still unnamed, the lake has about 7,800 linear feet of shoreline and will be available to residents for sailing, fishing and other water-oriented activities. The first homes at Sunnymead Ranch are being built by Woodhaven Development Co. and are priced from $99,950 to $134,950.
Cost of the lake was estimated at $5 million, including design, construction and financing.
