Who’s the sadist in your organization that cleverly hides the Calendar section in the Sunday newspaper?

And why is the Book Review insert always upside down? Or am I picking it up backwards?

Who was the photographer that took that blurred picture for the Sept. 15 Calendar cover (“Applause for Downtown L.A.’s New Theater Center”)? Or are my eyes just burnt out from seeing B. Springsteen’s name endlessly?

Calendar’s articles are enlightening and informative, but thumbing through eight pages of ads between stories is like trying to pick up a Sunday L.A. Times with two fingers! Don’t tire me out like that!
