USD Assistant Dies From Electrocution
SAN DIEGO —
Kevin Briscoe, 26, a volunteer assistant football coach at the University of San Diego, died Sunday when he was electrocuted at a lake near his family’s home in Seattle.
Briscoe had worked with the Torero kickers the last three years while he was attending USD law school. As an undergraduate, he was the USD kicker for three years.
After last Saturday’s game, Briscoe flew to Seattle for job interviews. He was electrocuted by a hot wire when he jumped into a lake in an attempt to rescue the family’s dog.
