An accident involving three vehicles resulted in the death of a 17-year-old youth in Garden Grove. A motorcyclist and his passenger were thrown into the street when the motorcyle struck a truck attempting to park on Ward Street, according to Sgt. Harlen Hanson of the Garden Grove Police Department. Passer-bys were able to assist the passenger out of the street, but as they returned to help the cyclist, he was struck and killed by a third vehicle driven by Luis Carrasco, Hanson said. Carrasco, 28, of Garden Grove was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter, police said. The passenger was taken to Fountain Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries.
