Parks Leads Palomar Past San Diego City

LaMont Parks scored on touchdown runs of 28 and 3 yards tolead Palomar College to a 25-15 win over San Diego City College in a Mission Conference game Saturday afternoon on Glenn Broderick Field.
Palomar (1-1, 2-1) took a 15-0 lead in the first quarter. At 5:30 of the quarter, SDCC running back Aaron Jameson was tackled in the end zone for a safety. Palomar stretched its lead to 8-0 on its next possession, with a 6-play, 80-yard drive, capped by Parks’ 28-yard run.
