The 1985 Pepperdine men’s volleyball team, winners of the NCAA championship, will be honored Monday in a ceremony in the university gymnasium at 10 a.m.
Marv Dunphy, a Calabasas resident who guided the Waves to the victory over USC for the school’s second national title, will be in attendance. Dunphy is the new coach of the U.S. Olympic volleyball team.
Jeff Stork, a resident of Topanga who served as Dunphy’s assistant before joining the U.S. team, will also be there.
