Steve Haddad, the starting quarterback at Pierce College, may not play in Saturday’s game against UC Santa Barbara because of a separated left shoulder suffered last week in a 49-23 victory over East Los Angeles. Haddad was injured on a 78-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Sargent, whose status is also questionable with bruised ribs.

Moorpark quarterback Ken Lutz, with 97 yards against Ventura College last week, has passed for 2,449 yards in his career, breaking Pat O’Malley’s record of 2,436 yards set in 1979-80.

Super-vee racer Mike Groff of Northridge finished third in the Sports Car Club of America’s final point standings. Mike Hooper of Woodland Hills was 12th.
