‘Baby on Board’
In response to Max Shapiro’s letter (Oct. 3) regarding “Baby on Board” signs, I strongly take offense to his own “chutzpah.”
I am a parent with a “Baby on Board” sign boldly displayed in the rear window of my car. In my neighborhood, tailgating, speeding, reckless driving and “non-signalers” are abundant. I fear for the life of my child every time we get into the car.
I feel that if the sign makes one impatient driver think twice about playing “chicken” with me and my child, then I could not care less what Shapiro and other intolerant drivers think.
