Matadors Rebound to Beat Pomona, 4-0

Cal State Northridge, who were upset by Chapman College, 1-0, on Wednesday, rebounded Saturday against Cal Poly Pomona to win, 4-0.
The Matadors improved their record to 12-2.
Four different players scored for the Matadors. In the first half, Mike McAndrew and Rodney Batt scored. John Tronson and Francisco Lobos scored in the second.
Goalkeepers Phil Heaver and Mark Grody combined for the shutout at Pomona.
CSUN, ranked fourth in Division II, is at home Wednesday night against Cal State Dominguez Hills at 7:30.
