Library to Hold Open House: The Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Branch Library will hold an open house on Nov. 12 to celebrate its reopening after a four-month closure due to extensive fire damage. The library has been completely refurbished since the July 4 blaze, a library spokeswoman said. The Friends of the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Branch purchased a curbside bookdrop and artwork and donated money to replace large-print books. Donations from the community totaled more than $1,000. The Rossmoor Woman’s Club gave $400 to replace burned newspaper displays. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m at the branch, 12700 Seal Beach Blvd..
