Newbury Park High Stadium Ready

Newbury Park will play its first game in its new campus football stadium tonight against Westlake.

Construction on the stadium has not been completed, but the field is ready and the lights work, according to assistant principal James Robillard.

The stadium’s construction was financed by the fund-raising efforts of parents totaling $100,000 over the last four years. The City of Thousand Oaks matched those funds last year, enabling the school to complete the project.
