RADIO CITY BLAZE CALLED ARSON
The fire that gutted Radio City on Nov. 3 “was definitely an arson fire,” an Anaheim Fire Department official said Wednesday, but no suspects have been arrested.
“It appears that somebody tore the window off the ticket box and threw either burning pieces of paper or other material inside the ticket booth,” fire investigator Mike Feeney said. “No accelerants, by that I mean flammable liquids, were used to start the fire. As far as whether it was done by an amateur or professional, we might never be able to tell.”
“We have a few leads we’re following,” Feeney added. “We’ll continue investigating and hopefully we’ll catch the scoundrels who did it.”
