Rocket Salls Tops Pilgrim Field at Los Alamitos
Nine 3-year-olds will compete for the winner’s share in the $20,000-added Pilgrim Handicap at 400 yards tonight at Los Alamitos Race Course.
Among the entries is Rocket Salls, taken for $5,000 this summer by trainer James Williams. The gelding has risen steadily in class and will be seeking Williams’ first stakes win at Los Alamitos.
Other entries include Candy Man Cass, Native Scout, Drippin Chocolate and Dash For Destiny. Drippin Chcolate and Dash For Destiny share high weight of 124 pounds.
