Darlene May Wins Her 300th Game
Darlene May, coach of the Cal Poly Pomona women’s basketball team, gained her 300th career victory Friday night when the Lady Broncos defeated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 73-63, at Cal Poly Pomona.
May, who has won nine California Collegiate Athletic Assn. championships in 12 seasons, has a career record of 300-78.
Cal Poly Pomona is currently ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division II with an 18-3 record.
