An informal survey of the Dallas Cowboys shows 19 of 30 team members questioned would submit to voluntary random drug testing and almost all said there isn’t a drug problem on the team, the Dallas Morning News reported.
The newspaper said 19 Cowboys answered yes when asked if they would submit to random drug testing if club President Tex Schramm said he wanted to conduct the tests.
Eight said they would not agree to the testing and three offered no comment.
As to whether there is a drug problem on the team, 27 Cowboys said no, one said he didn’t know, two declined comment and none said yes.
