BYU Wrestlers Rout Cal State Fullerton
Cal State Fullerton’s wrestling team was no match for Brigham Young University Friday night as the Cougars scored an easy 27-10 nonconference victory over the Titans at Fullerton.
The Cougars, with four competitors ranked in the Top 20 nationally, improved their record to 6-2. Fullerton is 9-5-1.
The most interesting match was in the heavyweight division, where Fullerton’s Bob Button, weighing 210 pounds, decisioned BYU’s 325-pound Doug Rawlinson, 7-3.
The Titans’ next home match will be Wednesday against Biola.
