Corona Fire Destroys Vacant House
CORONA —
Fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed a large, vacant house on the city’s north side late Tuesday.
The blaze apparently was started with a flammable liquid and spread through the house from several starting points, Fire Inspector David Reed said.
The house, on Corydon Street and worth at least $200,000, was owned by Jay and Barbara Bowman of Oak Hills, a community in the high desert near Cajon Pass, Reed said.
