Mt. Sac Track Attack : On to Madison Sq. Garden!

Mounties Won two first places, a third place and a sixth place at the Los Angeles Times/GTE Games. Winners Taylor and Washington advance to the U.S. Mobil Indoor Track and Field Champion ships in New York City this Friday and Saturday.

At the same time last weekend, a Mountie outdoor contingent descended on Fresno City College with a vengeance, the men winning their 46th straight dual meet, 91-61, and the women winning their 26th straight dual, 82-28. Qualifying marks for the Southern California Preliminaries which Mt. Sac will host May 6-10 were set by three men, Kris Peck (javelin, 194-5), Kenny Hall (110 high hurdles, 14.5) and Gordon Bugg (400 IH, 52.2), and two women, Cheri Slater (javelin, 140-11 1/2) and Kelli Webb (triple jump, 36-5).
