Bennett Swims to 4 Firsts for Cypress

Andrea Bennett won three individual events Wednesday as Cypress College beat Mt. San Antonio, 90-35, in a South Coast Conference swimming tri-meet at Cypress. Bennett won the 200-yard individual medley, 200 freestyle and 500 free and was a member of the winning 200-medley relay team.
Cypress’ win gave it a split for the day. Golden West defeated the Chargers, 90-32.
In men’s action, Golden West beat Cypress, 79-15, and Mt. San Antonio defeated Cypress, 70-27.
