Long Beach Beats SDSU in Volleyball

Ali Tazerouni had 23 kills Wednesday night to lead Cal State Long Beach past San Diego State, 15-12, 15-7, 11-15, 16-14, in a California Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. match in Long Beach. Long Beach is 5-7 in conference, 15-9 overall. SDSU is 5-9, 7-12. John Forrest had 27 kills to lead the Aztecs. Teammate John Eddo added 14 kills.
The Aztecs return home against Hawaii Friday and Saturday night in Peterson Gym.
