A Fullerton resident was killed when the motorcycle he was riding plunged down an embankment in Fullerton, a coroner’s office spokesman said. The spokesman said Russell Lynn Hund, 28, was northbound on State College Boulevard just south of Rolling Hills Drive when he apparently lost control of the cycle because of excessive speed. Paramedics were summoned to the scene but Hund was pronounced dead. A Police Department spokesman identified him as the son of the late Capt. Gilbert Hund of the Fullerton Fire Department, who died two years ago while responding to a fire.
