Body of Man Found Inside His Apartment

OCEANSIDE — The body of a man authorities believe was stabbed to death several days ago was found Saturday in his bedroom, police reported.
Police were led to the body when the dead man’s employer called to report that the man had been missing from work since Tuesday. Officer John Bart went to the man’s apartment at 4208 La Casita Way on Saturday morning and found that the front door was unlocked.
Bart entered the apartment and found the man’s body in the bedroom, where it had apparently lain for several days. While the exact cause of death hasn’t been determined, police believe the man was stabbed to death.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of relatives, the coroner’s office said.
