Former NFL running back Willie T. Spencer was sentenced in Canton, Ohio, to up to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking.
Spencer, 32, who played for the New York Giants in 1977-78 and the Minnesota Vikings in 1976, pleaded guilty a month ago to one count of trafficking and three counts of aggravated trafficking in the drug PCP. It was his second drug-related conviction.
